If you're experiencing some Déjà vu it's probably because
you've seen a similar post here.

Sorry for the repeat, but Wheeler Farm is close

Anyway, here are the pictures from out latest visit.

Summer + Toddler

Summer sure is rough on little boys.
I think Miles' knees have looked like this all summer long.
It's probably due to the fact that he runs everywhere
he goes. I'm constantly yelling after him to "SLOW DOWN!"
His little legs just can't keep up some times and then we
end up with the crash and burn.
He's tough though. He'll usually jump up
and say, "I otay." Then he's off again.

I sure do love this little ball of never ending energy.

Chatter Box

Miles talks all the time.
I mean all the time, all the time.
He says some of the funniest things.

The other day we were driving home after making
some big decisions (details to come later)
and I said to Gabe, "that was easy."
and he said, "yea, that really was easy."
Then we heard Miles pipe up in the back seat and say,
"Easy peasy wemon skeezy."
(easy peasy lemon squeezy - aunt morgan taught him this one)

Today I was sitting on the couch with Miles
before bedtime. This is the conversations we had.
Miles: Can I see your teeth?
Me: Big cheesey toothy smile.
Miles: Your teeth are wewow.
Me: Yellow? They're supposed to be white.
Miles: No they're wewow. You need to brush your teeth.
(I might be investing in some teeth whitening)

While we were driving to Cache Valley today
we past a few police cars with their overhead lights flashing.
Miles: Powice tars. WooWoo.

After biting his tongue.
Miles: Ouchy
Me: What happened? Are you okay?
Miles: I eat my teeth.
Me: did you bite your tongue?
Miles: Yea, wight here (picture cute boy with tongue sticking out).

Pool Party

Growing up it seemed like we lived in the water
during the hot summer months. It didn't officially feel
like summer until we ran through the sprinklers or
spent hours and hours at Hyrum Dam with our friends.

Given that we don't have a yard here at our tiny apartment
we haven't spent a lot of time enjoying my favorite summer past time.
Until last week when we took our first trip to the pool at our complex.
Miles absolutely loved playing in the water.
Some of our neighbors walked by and Miles yelled out,
"I'm playing in the bath!"

This week to get summer in full swing (yea it's a little late in the season)
Miles got to have a pool party with his friends while at the babysitters.
Christina gave me these awesome photos of Miles splishing and splashing.

We love this one.

What goes up...

Must come down.

Twilight in a Nutshell

Did I read the twilight books?
Yes.
No I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Did I like the twilight books?
Yes.
Probably more than a
27-year-old woman should admit.

I was team Edward all the way -
gotta love the thought of a man that's
had over 100 years to perfect himself.

Am I so obsessed with them that I can't
appreciate a good joke at their expense?
No.
I actually really enjoyed this "comic strip"
that my dad e-mail me today.

It really cracked me up.
Miles kept coming over to me and saying,
"What's funny mom?"
