All Good Things Must Come to an End

I have been very excited for this movie to come out.

I mean high school girl at prom excited,

little kid at Christmas excited,

The rabbit who finally gets a bowl of Trix excited!

and...

IT WAS AWESOME!

They of course took some liberties with the movie

and strayed from the book in some parts,

but overall I couldn't help but absolutely love it!!

Now I am just sad that it is all over.

It feels really weird that there wont be any

more Harry Potter movies to look forward to.

Now the next best thing is the new Twilight movie.

But lets be honest, Twilight, try as it might,

can't hold a candle to Harry Potter.

(Yea, I said it. Hate me if you must.)

So Much Better!

After Twilight I told myself I wasn't going to go to anymore of the movies, but I am glad I did. New Moon was so much better! There were a lot of improvements, though some of the special affects weren't all that special. Overall though I really enjoyed it!

OK so now that I have more time I thought I would hit up a few of my favorite (and least favorite) things about the movie.
Favorite things: Jacob standing shirtless in the rain, Jessica's "like" attitude after the movie, Victoria's beautiful, vibrant red hair, the meadow was actually a meadow {that was one of the things I hated most about Twilight}, and Jacob after their "group" date to Punch Face {haha}.
Least favorite things: Edward's nasty hairy chest {come on he's supposed to look like perfect smooth stone - did anyone picture him with hair?}, Alice's vision of happy vampires frolicking through the woods {can we say cheesy}, and Bella's not so devastated reaction when Edward told her he was leaving {sorry Kristen I just didn't feel it}.

I Loved...

...every minute!

I didn't read any of the books but, man, I love the movies. Gabe thinks I'm a total nerd. What does he know!?

32 weeks (about 8 months) & Twilight

32 Weeks

This week marks about 8 months! I can't believe how fast time is flying, we only have 8 weeks left. At my 20 week ultrasound the baby was measuring about a week behind, so today we had another ultrasound to re-measure him and make sure he was growing enough. Well, he is. He is now bigger than average (60th percentile) weighing an estimated 4 lb 11 oz. The ultrasound tech said that he should gain about 1/2 lb per week; which means by my due date he should gain another 4 lbs! Yeah, he's going to be HUGE!
At our last ultrasound he was so stubborn and refused to show us his face. He was still reluctant today, but we finally got a shot of the cutest little face I've ever seen.

Twilight

Super awesome or totally lame? I liked it more than I thought I would, but even with low expectations I have to admit I was disappointed. I wont say too much just in case you haven't seen it yet. However, I will say that I think Stephenie Meyer sold out too soon. It came off feeling like a low budget film, with horrible casting and mediocre performances.
