Let's Get Dirty

So my friend, Robyn, (the one making googly eyes at me) talked us into doing "The Dirty Dash" with her.
I Thought we looked pretty cute when we headed out the door.
 And when we arrived.

But after a 3.1 mile muddy obstacle course we were looking a little, well, a little like this...
(don't mind my sunglasses that look like big dorky goggle on top of my head)

Getting muddy was a BLAST. Seriously, it was SO MUCH FUN!
Wow - I really look like I need a nap

cleaning up however; was not.

That water was FREEZING. No joke, painfully cold.
Miles thought it was hilarious watching three grown women screaming each time the water touched our skin.

Man, I have some awesome friends that talk me into doing some crazy, fun, adventurous things.
Even if Jana looks like she is thoroughly enjoying torturing me with that freezing cold water.

It's Madness I say

Gabe was one of the top salesman at work so he got rewarded with some awesome March Madness tickets. Being the awesome daddy that he is he decided to take his best buddy, Miles.

They had THE.BEST.TIME!

Miles loved all the energy and noise...and spending time with Daddy of course.

Gabe loved watching a live NCAA game....and spending time with Miles of course.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Take me out to the crowd,
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks...
(it's okay, take a minute to finish the song; I know you want to)

Salt Lake Bee's vs. Memphis Redbirds

We opted for "General Admission" tickets,
well, because they were cheapest and we're tight wads
and because we knew Miles would want to wiggle.

He ran up and down this little hill the whole game.
See that sign in the background?
They aren't kidding. We had a few home run balls almost
nail the people sitting to our left.

The Heber Valley Railroad had a train ride for all the little kiddies.
Here's Miles and Daddy waiting in the ridiculous line.
Don't you love how his pants are hiked up to his knees?
He picked out those socks all by himself :)

Finally it was their turn.
"Hi Mom!"

Then it was my turn to ride with this train crazy boy.

Aside from our waitress at Wingers making us wait 30 minutes
(seriously 30 minutes) for our change and me freaking out in the 6th inning
about keeping Miles up WAY past bedtime it was a super fun night out.
Gabe even bought me a giant pretzel - YUM.

Oh, and in case you're wondering... the Bee's lost

Fun in the Sun

Here are a few new pictures of Miles. He's so dang fun and growing up way too fast.

First Game of the Season

For those of you that don't know Gabe served his mission in Tennessee and has been a die hard Titans fan ever since (yes, even when they were the worst team in the league). Last season they made it to the playoffs, but unfortunately lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Well, tonight the Titans & the Steelers meet again to kick off the first game of the season. Another die hard fan in the making.

GO TITANS!!
