A friend recently posted about Neverland and I decided she has the right idea. So, Taryn, if you find a plane headed past the second star to the right and straight on til morning reserve some tickets for me please because my kids are growing up way to fast.
Liam will be 7 weeks old on Wednesday. I know right; he's almost 2 months old already. I am sad that he is growing so fast, but man he gets cuter and sweeter by the day. He has been such a calming influence in our home. He is such a good baby and everyone just seems happier when he is in the room.
It took him a while to warm up to bath-time, but it is now one of our favorite nighttime activities.
Yesterday he really got his legs going and was splashing all over. I loved every minute of it. One of my favorite things about babies and bath-time is getting to snuggle them in a towel afterwards.
He is still not a consistent sleeper, but we'll take what we get. I honestly don't think there is anything sweeter than a sleeping babe. Look at those chubby legs. Swoon.
Miles, appropriately named since this kid goes a million MILES an hour all day long, has been so cute and so feisty these days. He loves his baby brother and always wants to kiss him and thinks there is nothing greater than earning a smile from him. He has been a big helper and seems to have grown up by leaps and bounds since Liam has joined our family. He is so independent and wants to show us that he can do things all by himself. It's been bitter sweet. I love watching him learn and grow, but I hate that he is getting so big so fast. A prime example of him doing everything himself is this marvelous self portrait.
One other thing of note. Check out this family of quail that likes to visit our back yard. I count 11; how many do you see?
