Patience

People always say that they learn more from their kids than their kids learn from them. I am quickly finding this to be true. My sweet baby boy isn't even born yet and he is already teaching me lessons of patience. Thats right, I had my 39 week appointment yesterday and my cervix still isn't doing anything and the baby is still at -2 station. I am scheduled to be induced on January 28th, unless for some reason the baby decides he wants to come on his own before then. However, I am now stuck between a rock and a hard place because I want him to be born around his due date but my doctor is going to be in Jamaica all next week! I feel great though so I guess going over my due date by 8 days really wont be that bad.
I'll keep you all posted if anything changes.

Hang in there Sarah! I am sure you are so anxious to be done but he will be here before you know it!

I am sure he will be worth the wait! And great idea starting the nutrition blog. Way to go for it. I think I would be nervous to do make something like that. Do you have any hopes/goals for what you want it to become? Hope school is going well for you all!

Almost there!! You can do it!! He can't stay in there forever :) And just so you know, I was checked with Eden 2 days before she was born and the Dr. said that there was no progress at all. It can happen fast and surprise you, but if not, at least you have a "He will be here by this day" date.

I love ya!!

The last couple of weeks are the hardest for me. Just not knowing. But Michelle is right. It doesn't matter how far progressed you are. Things can happen fast especially if you water breaks. I would suggest going to a few movies in the theater while there are still only two of you. And spend as much time with Gabe as you can right now:)
