No, I have not abandoned the bloggosphere. I am just trying to figure out how to get everything done now that I've added "student" back into my bag of hats.
My internship is going well. I've been working with Logan City School District for 4 weeks...only 9 to go! I'm learning a lot about school foodservice - there are a lot of great things about it that parents don't understand and a lot of things I really wish I could change.
Miles is doing great! He loves both sets of grandparents and does so well while Gabe and I are away. He's a little clingy in the mornings, but once we're gone he forgets all about us :(. He is starting to copy some of the words we say. Here are some of the things he can/will say.

* claps when he is proud of himself
* hides behind things and tries to be sneaky
* closes any door he can and then freaks out when he can't get back in or out
* will raise his hands high when he's done eating
* loves to read books
* if you give him a spoon he needs a bowl - I mean duh, you can't make gourmet meals without a bowl.
and most importantly...
* He comes at me with his mouth open wide when I ask for a kiss!

My gosh I can't believe he is talking! I want to hear it! Those kisses are so great. Make sure to record some of him talking every so often so that you can look back and see the development, and so can he. We have a few of Jace and he loves to watch himself " )
So cute! I can't believe we live next door and hardly get to see him! That's life I guess, School, work, babies...There's hardly time to eat ;) He's such a cutie

What an awesome little guy you have! He's getting so big and well versed! I'm glad the internship is going well even though your preceptor is new too, but like you said, you are learning a lot. You're awesome and I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day! miss you!
It is great to hear that things are going well with you internship. It is hard to leave little ones to go to work or school. It makes me cherish the afternoons and evenings that I have with my little guy. I love that time when they are learning to talk. He will take off now it is crazy once they start there is no stopping them.
Thats really cute. I am sure you are a super mom more than you think.
