Things I've Learned ::Part 2::

  1. Give it time, it gets better!
  2. A few tears never hurt anyone
  3. A schedule helps, but sometimes you have to follow their lead
  4. Watching your child have a CT is the scariest thing ever
  5. Taking time for yourself is a must! (I still struggle with this though)
  6. Babies like TV
  7. Listen to your baby, they really are trying to tell you something - once you figure out their cues it gets so much easier - Patience is a virtue
  8. Getting up at 3:00 am is so much harder when you KNOW they can make it til 6:00 - patience is a virtue
  9. When you're a mom time goes by at warp speed
  10. If its possible, I love Miles more every day.

Sarah,
I'm so glad to hear that Miles is doing okay. I think it is the scariest thing in the world to watch your child have major tests run or go through surgery. But Miles is lucky, he has you for a mom. Sounds like you are catching on splendidly!!! I wish I would have figured a few of those out a little sooner. I miss you.

I definitely agree with taking time for yourself! I find my day goes much better if I can even have a half an hour while my kids are napping to just do something for me. And I totally agree that patience is a virtue!! I am not a patient person and have had to learn that the hard way so I am glad that you already figured it out!!

Patience is a virture, sometimes I wish I didn't need to learn it so much!! You are such a great mom. Miles is lucky to have you as his mom. It is so fun to read about all the new things he does and the things you learn. Maybe some of us who don't have kids can be wise enough to learn from you huh. :)
