How old are you?

TWO!

This is how Miles tells you how old he is.
Maybe he's just saying, "I'm two and look I have two hands"


I was planning on putting together a "ball" themed party.
However, due to all the job chaos all I managed
was this basketball cake.
Yes, I realize that I need a less frilly cake platter.
I'm pretty sure the older Miles wont appreciate this one.

We had a little birthday bash with our families.
Miles loved being the center of attention.
I wish I could have captured the look on his face
while we sang happy birthday.

Yup, that's a potty.
Yay for potty training (well introducing it anyway).

I can't believe my baby is such a big boy!
We had a great day and are so glad that we were able to
celebrate Miles with our families.
We love him so much and feel so lucky to be his parents.

Here are some things I want to remember:

He is a little daredevil
He is talking so well and has started to form sentences
He is stubborn like his mom
He is starting to look more like his daddy everyday
He has developed preferences for certain foods, toys, and routines
He loves, loves, loves nursery
He always wants to drive past the temple a.k.a. Jesus House
He loves to say prayers
He is starting to get interested in the potty

He is determined to do everything by himself
He insists on helping mommy do everything
He loves anything with wheels
He loves books and puzzles
He loves to play outside - even when it's freezing cold
He has a hard time making decisions
He has definitely entered the "terrible twos"
He can always make us laugh
He gives the best hugs
He gets really jealous when daddy give mommy hugs
He still looks forward to bath time
He is drawn to anything electronic
He makes the worlds largest messes in record time
He has both his parents totally wrapped around his little finger
