Things I've Learned

1. $@*% happens - a lot.
2. Sleep is essential for proper function.
3. Babies are time consuming, simple tasks such as eating have become harder.
4. You can't know true love til you've had a baby.
5. Everything in life is easier with the support of a good husband - thanks Gabe.
6. There's not much on TV at 3:00 am.
7. A pack of 40 diapers doesn't last very long.
8. I really want to be a stay home mom.
9. Life is hard and at times will get harder, but with the support of a good family and turning to God through prayer I can make it through.
10. I have married the perfect man. Gabe, the sweet husband that he is, went above and beyond to make sure we had a romantic Valentines dinner (even with a newborn). He stopped at Chili's on his way home and picked up my favorite meal and then set up a beautiful candlelight dinner. After which he took Miles for several hours so I could catch up on some much needed sleep. I can't tell him enough how much I love him and how blessed I am to be sealed to him for time and eternity.

It is all so true. I promise it does get better as they get older.

What a cute post! I am so glad that Gabe has helped you so much. How sweet of him to do valentine's dinner!

Just think when all these things happen to me you will be a pro and just sit back and laugh.

I completely agree with 1-7, I can totally relate to #6! I would have to disagree with #8, it's not my cup of tea, but 9 and 10 can help you get through anything!

What a beautiful baby boy you have!!! I'm so glad to see that he arrived safely. He's adorable! I would have to agree there really is not much on at 3:00 am and diapers do seem to go very fast when they are young (they go fast even when they are a bit older) but even though sleep is essential you learn to live without it because there is nothing in the world more important than your little one! Congrats!
